Job Summary

IBMR Group of Institutions is looking for an experienced, agile, and result-oriented Head of Department (Academics) to lead academic planning, faculty development, curriculum implementation, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should possess strong academic leadership, administrative capabilities, and knowledge of AICTE and university compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities




- Lead and manage the academic department effectively.
- Prepare and monitor academic calendars, lesson plans, and session plans.
- Ensure compliance with AICTE and affiliating university academic regulations.
- Monitor teaching quality, student learning outcomes, and academic performance.
- Conduct faculty mentoring, training, appraisal, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate examinations, assessments, moderation, and result analysis.
- Develop innovative teaching-learning practices, case studies, and outcome-based education.
- Promote research, publications, Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), conferences, and consultancy activities.
- Coordinate academic audits and departmental documentation.
- Collaborate with Training & Placement, Admissions, and Corporate Relations for academic initiatives.
- Handle student mentoring, discipline, grievance resolution, and academic counselling.
