About the Role

At Humour Me, we believe great work starts with great people. We're looking for a Talent & People Lead to build and strengthen our people function, from attracting exceptional talent to creating an engaging employee experience.

This role will own end-to-end hiring while also driving onboarding, employer branding, HR policies, compliance and key people initiatives. You'll work closely with leadership to ensure we continue building a high-performing, people-first organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition
- Own end-to-end recruitment across creative, strategy, client servicing, production, operations and corporate functions.
- Partner with business leaders to understand hiring needs and workforce planning.
- Build talent pipelines through sourcing, referrals and industry networking.
- Conduct screening interviews and coordinate the interview process.
- Manage offers, negotiations, reference checks and candidate communication.
- Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, quality of hire and offer acceptance.

Onboarding & Employee Experience




- Design and manage a seamless induction and onboarding programme.
- Ensure every new joiner has a consistent and engaging onboarding experience.
- Coordinate probation reviews and support managers during employee integration.

Employer Branding
- Strengthen Humour Me's employer brand across LinkedIn, careers pages and hiring platforms.
- Work with the marketing and leadership teams to showcase company culture, employee stories and hiring campaigns.
- Build relationships with colleges, industry communities and qualified networks.

People Operations
- Draft, update and communicate HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Support POSH compliance and coordinate mandatory HR documentation.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with HR audits and compliance requirements.
