"The Site Head is the single point of accountability for turning the plan into a built asset on the ground.
Everything that happens on site cost, schedule, quality, safety, statutory compliance, labour, land and community peace finally lands with this role.
The Site Head integrates many contractors and many disciplines into one moving front, makes the real-time trade-offs no one else on site can make, and is the face of the project to the local administration and community.
Where Head Office plans, the Site Head delivers and owns the consequences when reality and the plan diverge.

Key Responsibilities of Role

SITE DELIVERY & FRONT MANAGEMENT • Own delivery of the site against the baseline — cost, schedule, quality and safety — and the recovery plan when it slips.
• Integrate civil, mechanical, electrical, commissioning and enabling works into one sequenced, de-conflicted front.
• Keep work fronts open and productive — sequence fronts, balance resources and break the daily bottlenecks that stall progress.




• Drive contractor performance and productivity; hold them to programme, manpower and method commitments.
SAFETY, QUALITY & STATUTORY OWNERSHIP ON THE GROUND • Be visibly, personally accountable for zero harm — set the tone, walk the site, and back every stop-work made for the right reason.
• Own built quality — ensure hold-points, inspections and build-right-first-time discipline are real, not paperwork.
• Ensure statutory, environmental and labour compliance is live on site — permits, consents, hold-points and conditions are met before and during work.
• Make sure execution never runs ahead of land, ROW and statutory clearance for a given front.
COST, COMMERCIAL & RESOURCE CONTROL • Own site cost and productivity — manpower, plant, material and cash deployed for output, not just activity.
• Govern measurement, billing and certification with the Project Controller so paid work equals built work.
