compassionate Operation Theatre (OT) Nurse to support our surgical and IVF procedures

while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and infection control.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

 Prepare patients before OT procedures and provide pre-operative nursing care.

 Assist in transferring patients safely to and from the operation theatre.

 Monitor patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures.

 Provide post-operative nursing care as per clinical protocols.

Operation Theatre Management

 Prepare the OT before scheduled procedures.

 Assist fertility specialists and anaesthetists during IVF and minor surgical procedures.





 Ensure availability and proper functioning of OT equipment and instruments.

 Maintain sterile conditions throughout all procedures.

Infection Control

 Follow strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.

 Sterilize surgical instruments and maintain sterilization records.

 Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste according to hospital guidelines.

Documentation

 Maintain OT records, patient charts, and nursing documentation accurately.

 Record consumables and OT inventory used during procedures.

 Report any incidents or equipment issues promptly.

Equipment & Inventory

 Monitor OT supplies and maintain adequate stock levels.

 Coordinate with procurement for replenishment of consumables.

 Ensure all OT equipment is cleaned, maintained, and ready for use.

Team Collaboration

 Coordinate with doctors, embryologists, anaesthetists, and nursing staff.

 Support smooth OT scheduling and workflow.
