Techture Structures Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer – MEP (HVAC) to join our Design Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HVAC system design for commercial, residential, and data center projects. This role involves designing energy-efficient and code-compliant HVAC systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions for international projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC load calculations using industry-standard methodologies and software in accordance with ASHRAE guidelines.
- Design and develop HVAC systems, including:
- Air Distribution Systems
- Duct Sizing and Routing
- Ventilation Systems
- Fresh Air Calculations
- Exhaust Systems
- Select HVAC equipment, including:
- Air Handling Units (AHU)
- Fan Coil Units (FCU)
- Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Systems
- Chillers
- Pumps
- Ventilation Equipment
- Prepare HVAC design deliverables, including:
- Layout Drawings
- Sections
- Schematics
- Single-Line Diagrams (where applicable)
- Perform static pressure and External Static Pressure (ESP) calculations.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical specifications, and equipment schedules.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable international codes and standards, including:
- ASHRAE
- SMACNA
- NFPA
- International Code Council (ICC)
- Coordinate designs with Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Architectural, and Structural teams.
- Participate in client meetings, address technical queries, and provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review shop drawings, vendor submissions, and design documents to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
- Support value engineering initiatives and recommend energy-efficient design solutions.
