Responsibilities:
- - Perform retirement and manual benefit calculations and transactions, ensuring compliance with plan provisions, client/legal documentation, and applicable tax regulations.
- Review, interpret, and apply plan/contract provisions accurately to determine benefits and process requests.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve calculation and transaction-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Meet defined productivity and quality benchmarks to ensure deliverables are completed within established timelines and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including actuarial and technical teams, to address complex cases and drive issue resolution.
- Communicate effectively with internal business partners to clarify requirements, resolve discrepancies, and provide updates.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend system enhancements, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency and customer service.
- Provide informal leadership support to team members by sharing knowledge,



acting as a subject matter expert (SME), and mentoring peers.
- Manage high-volume workloads with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to frequent interruptions.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of sensitive client and participant data at all times.
- Utilize spreadsheet, database, and other relevant tools effectively to support calculations, reporting, and analysis.
- Support additional duties, projects, or initiatives as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Defined Benefits (DB) manual calculations, with overall 8 years of relevant qualified experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field such as Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or a related discipline is required.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, Critical thinking and technical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
