Role Description
The Data Entry Clerk role is a full-time, in office position based in Dindigul. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in company systems and spreadsheets, ensuring information is complete and up to date. Daily tasks include reviewing source documents, verifying data for accuracy, correcting any inconsistencies, and organizing records for easy retrieval. The role also involves generating basic reports, supporting documentation needs for other departments, and maintaining confidentiality of all information handled.
The Data Entry Clerk will collaborate with colleagues to clarify data requirements and follow established procedures and timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong keyboarding and data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, or similar tools).
- Ability to organize, categorize, and maintain records and files in a structured manner.
- Basic numerical skills and comfort working with quantitative information.
