Role Overview

We are looking to hire a responsible and experienced
Unit Manager
for our institutional catering / mess operations at
Nagpur, Maharashtra
.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in
educational institutes, hostel mess operations, institutional catering, or large-scale food service operations
. The candidate must be capable of taking complete ownership of site operations, managing teams,



coordinating with the client, ensuring compliance, and maintaining service quality.

This role requires a hands-on professional who does not work with only a duty-hour mindset, but takes full responsibility for smooth site operations, client satisfaction, staff discipline, hygiene, documentation, and daily issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities
- Take complete ownership of day-to-day
mess / institutional catering operations
at the site.
- Manage kitchen, service, store, housekeeping, and support teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure timely and quality food service as per approved menu, meal timings, and client expectations.
- Maintain strict compliance with
FSSAI guidelines, hygiene standards, food safety norms, and company SOPs
.
- Coordinate with client representatives, institute administration, and internal operations team for daily requirements and feedback.
- Handle student / client complaints profes
