As a Windows Server Administrator, you will support, configure, administer, and maintain the Windows Server infrastructure that underpins enterprise applications. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across the enterprise, partnering with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions, and recommending optimizations for performance tuning and capacity planning of existing systems.
You will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to implement solutions that meet business needs and to assess and manage the impact of current or updated applications on the current infrastructure. Success in this role requires strong diagnostic skills, the ability to perform under pressure in a team environment, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Deep expertise in troubleshooting Windows operating systems and related processes is essential.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, configure, and support server infrastructure hosting enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues, collaborate with teams and vendors to coordinate solutions.
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures, contribute ideas for enhancement and improvements.
- Work directly with users to prioritize requests and provide frequent progress updates and estimated delivery timeframes.
- Effectively coordinate support escalation communications across stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedure documentation and runbooks.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to provide timely support.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a senior-level systems administrator.
