Job Summary:
The Application Engineer – Personal Auto is responsible for supporting the development, evaluation, and implementation of products and solutions for personal automotive applications. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, R&D;, product development, and customers to ensure product performance, application suitability, and successful commercialization. The position requires strong technical knowledge, customer focus, and the ability to translate market needs into practical application solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for products and applications related to the personal automotive segment.
- Work closely with customers to understand application requirements and recommend suitable product solutions.
- Conduct product evaluations, testing, validation, and performance analysis for automotive applications.
- Collaborate with R&D; and product development teams to optimize products based on customer and market needs.
- Support recent product introductions, trials, and commercialization activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely technical resolutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, presentations, and application guidelines.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to support customer engagement and business growth.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive products, and emerging customer requirements in the personal automotive market.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
