A faade consultant specializes in the design, engineering, and performance of building envelopes, focusing on aesthetics, structural integrity, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability. The role is to work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the faade meets all technical and regulatory requirements. responsible for implementing strategies that team members use to achieve a goal, delegating tasks based on each members strengths and skills and offering the training necessary to complete certain tasks. you are also responsible for keeping the enthusiasm going by providing individualized coaching when needed.
1. Preferably Graduate / Diploma in Civil / Architecture /Mechanical
2. Preparing rough sketches and Drawings in Cad format
3. Knowledge of Faade Systems, Faade Material properties and Performances
4. Knowledge of Faade and interested to work in Faade Domain
5. Knowledge of Building Bye laws and Codes IS / ASTM / AAMA /ISO / EN Standards Etc
6. Building Good relations and Rapport with Clients, architects,
and engineers.
7. Ability to coach and motivate the team
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and Planning:
o Collaborate with architects and design teams to develop creative faade solutions that meet aesthetic and functional goals.
o Provide input on material selection, considering factors like durability, thermal performance, acoustics, and cost.
o Create detailed faade design drawings, specifications, and models. 2. Technical Expertise:
o Coordinate for structural analysis and engineering calculations to ensure the faade system's stability and safety.
o Coordinate for thermal and energy modelling to optimize the faade's performance in terms of insulation, ventilation, and energy efficiency.
o Advise on the integration of sustainable design principles and compliance with environmental standards.
