SAP Basis Consultant Bangalore, Mumbai · Full Time · Hybrid

About the Role The SAP Basis Consultant role involves identifying and resolving business issues, analyzing system logs and performance metrics, and implementing improvements. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid workplace, managing SAP systems, and troubleshooting issues. The role requires experience in SAP system installations, upgrades, and hands-on experience in AMS/Support projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyzes system logs and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Recommends and implements improvements to SAP system parameters for better performance
- Troubleshoots issues and resolves business problems




- Configures SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and manages transports
- Performs daily monitoring and health checks of SAP systems
- Runs and manages background jobs
- Installs and configures printers, devices, and email configurations
- Sets up operation modes
- Performs kernel upgrades, patches, and add-on upgrades
- Conducts system refresh and system copy

Requirements
- Has 4-8 years of experience in SAP Basis consulting
- Possesses experience in SAP system installations and upgrades
- Has hands-on experience in AMS/Support projects with exposure to ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Has experience in SLA-driven support environments and handling critical/priority issues
- Is comfortable working in shifts and on-call support models
- Has experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and preparing incident reports
- Has mandatory experience in HANA

- Experience in traveling for work
