JOB PURPOSE

To own end-to-end management of all product, process, statutory, and green/sustainability certifications for the manufacturing unit – including obtaining, renewing, and maintaining certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, BIS, CE, FSC/CoC, GREENGUARD, GreenPro, GRIHA, IGBC, EPD, Declare Label, BIFMA, and other customer or regulatory mandated certifications – ensuring the plant and its products remain fully compliant, market-ready, and audit-ready at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, plan, and manage the full lifecycle of certifications required for the manufacturing unit – ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO 14001 (EMS),



ISO 45001 (OH&S;), BIS, CE marking, FSC/Chain of Custody, and any customer-specific product certifications.
- Drive and maintain green building and sustainability certifications for products and the facility, including GREENGUARD (Gold), GreenPro (CII), GRIHA, IGBC (Indian Green Building Council), EPD (Environmental Product Declaration), Declare Label, and BIFMA (level®) – covering application, documentation, lab testing coordination, and renewal cycles.
- Coordinate with certification bodies, auditors, and government agencies for surveillance audits, renewal audits, and current certification applications.
- Maintain a certification tracker/calendar with validity dates, renewal timelines, and documentation status for all unit-level and product-level certificates.
- Liaise with statutory authorities for factory-related licenses and NOCs – Factory License, Pollution Control Board (Air/Water/Hazardous Waste), Fire NOC, Boil
