We are looking for a agile and experienced Chartered Accountant with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting (specifically Ind AS implementation), taxation, and systems implementation. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial compliance, driving ERP implementation, and supporting strategic initiatives like fundraising and due diligence.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Ind AS Implementation
- Experience of transition to Ind AS (Indian Accounting Standards), ensuring successful first-time adoption and compliance.
- Prepare periodic (provisional, MIS and projected) and annual financial statements in accordance with Ind AS.
- Draft technical accounting papers on complex transactions to ensure alignment with current standards.
Taxation (Direct & Indirect)
- Periodic compliance for Direct Tax (TDS, Income Tax returns, Advance Tax) and Indirect Tax (GST returns, reconciliations, and annual filings).
- Handle tax assessments,
prepare submissions for tax authorities, and liaise with external tax consultants.
- Ensure timely statutory payments and adherence to regulatory timelines.
Audit, IFC & Compliance
- Manage Internal Auditsand IFC and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely closure of audit points.
- Conduct internal reviews to identify process gaps and recommend operational improvements.
Strategic Finance, Fundraising and banking
- Support the management team in Fundraising initiatives by preparing financial models, projections, pitch decks and assisting in Due diligence.
- Handled day to day banking and exposure towards import/export remittance, LC/BG, IDPMS/EDPMS, cash credit (CC) and Term Loan.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Utilize Advanced MS Excel skills to create financial dashboards, MIS reports, and variance analysis for management review.
