Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities. The ideal candidate should have robust negotiation skills, vendor management experience, and the ability to procure quality materials at competitive prices while ensuring timely deliveries. The candidate should be capable of handling multiple suppliers, maintaining procurement records, and coordinating effectively with production, stores, and finance departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete procurement activities for raw materials, packaging materials, components, consumables, and indirect purchases.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors to ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts to achieve cost savings.




- Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), Requests for Quotations (RFQ), Purchase Orders (PO), and follow up until material receipt.
- Compare quotations and conduct commercial evaluations to select the best suppliers.
- Ensure timely procurement as per production planning and inventory requirements.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels by coordinating with the Stores and Production teams.
- Monitor supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and service.
- Resolve supplier-related issues including shortages, quality concerns, and delayed deliveries.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, Finance, and Logistics departments for smooth procurement operations.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor database, and purchase documentation.
- Prepare MIS reports on procurement, vendor performance, pending orders, and cost-saving initiatives.
