Job Summary

The Senior Purchase Executive is responsible for managing procurement activities, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The role focuses on cost optimization, quality assurance, vendor management, and compliance with company procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchasing
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate favourable commercial terms.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
- Monitor purchase orders from issuance to delivery and resolve supply issues.

Vendor Management
- Build and maintain solid relationships with suppliers.
- Conduct vendor performance evaluations based on quality, delivery, cost, and service.




- Develop alternative sources to reduce procurement risks.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and payment terms.

Cost Control & Negotiation
- Achieve cost savings through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
- Analyse market trends and pricing fluctuations.
- Recommend cost-effective procurement strategies without compromising quality.

Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with stores, production, and planning teams to maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Monitor stock availability and initiate replenishment activities.
- Prevent stock-outs and excess inventory situations.

Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and vendor performance reports.
