Morphle Labs is a fast-growing, YC-funded medical robotics startup founded by IIT alumni. The company designs and manufactures globally deployed, scientifically advanced medical devices (such as RoboTome and MorphoLens) that automate and revolutionize digital cancer diagnostics and pathology workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Precision Programming: Develop, test, and optimize VMC programs for complex medical device components using CAM software.
- GD&T; Application: Interpret complex engineering drawings with a strict focus on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) for 100% part compliance.
- Process Setup & Inspection: Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters; perform first-off inspections against CAD models to ensure zero-defect manufacturing.
- Shift Operations: Lead programming and troubleshooting efforts across rotating shifts to ensure continuous production flow.
- Optimization & Collaboration: Refine programs to reduce cycle times and improve surface finishes; work closely with Design and Quality teams on Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a VMC Programmer in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Shift Flexibility: Compulsory requirement to work across rotating morning, evening, and night shifts.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical trade.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, or Fusion 360) and basic CAD navigation; capability to read and interpret complex symbols and tolerances without supervision.
