TheraPaws is a Mumbai-based organization dedicated to enhancing mental health and well-being through Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI). Founded by psychologist, dog trainer, and certified animal-assisted therapist Mrunal Salunkhe, TheraPaws supports children, adults, senior citizens, corporates, and institutions through structured, animal-led therapy programs. The organization works with trained therapy animals to create safe, supportive environments that promote emotional regulation, communication, resilience, and connection. Its personalized sessions address needs such as neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, stress, and social-emotional support. TheraPaws aims to make AAI an accessible, recognized, and impactful form of therapy across India, helping people experience the empathy and healing that animals offer.

Role Description
The Operations Manager is a full-time, in office role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities at TheraPaws. This role includes planning and coordinating therapy sessions,



managing schedules for staff and therapy animals, and ensuring smooth execution of programs across different client groups (children, adults, seniors, and corporates). The Operations Manager will develop and maintain operational processes, supervise support staff, manage vendor and partner relationships, and monitor resource utilization. They will also handle basic budgeting and reporting, track key operational metrics, and ensure compliance with safety, ethical, and organizational guidelines. Collaboration with the founder and therapeutic team to improve workflows, enhance client experience, and support program expansion will be a core part of the role.
