Role & responsibilities

Ensures the smooth operation of property facilities. Core duties include diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry issues. They respond to guest requests, conduct routine preventive maintenance, and maintain safety standards to minimize equipment downtime. Troubleshoot, test, and repair guest room and public area issues, such as plunging toilets, fixing lights, unclogging drains, and repairing furniture. Perform routine inspections on tools, appliances, mechanical equipment, and pool/spa chemicals. Execute basic painting, caulking, drywall, and landscaping/sprinkler repairs. Track labor hours, inventory parts, and document daily maintenance tasks on shift reports. Solid problem-solving abilities, the flexibility to work shifts (including weekends and holidays), and professional communication skills for guest interactions. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, assist individuals with disabilities,



and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Adhere to quality expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Preferred candidate profile

Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting. Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus. Proven experience in general maintenance, facilities management, or a related field. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair work. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
