Role Description:
We are looking for a resource with knowledge of Electrical Drawing – AutoCAD & EPLAN. Key responsibilities are given below -
•
Produce and manage detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN Electric P8.
• Detailsed Electrical Hardware Engineering,
Develop single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, cable schedules, termination schedules and routing plans in EPLAN.
•
Build and manage EPLAN project databases including device databases, macros and parts libraries.
•
Ensure drawing consistency, numbering conventions and title block standards are maintained across all deliverables.
•
Generate automated reports from EPLAN including BOMs, cable lists, and terminal diagrams.
•
Create and maintain CAD standards, templates, and drawing conventions.
•
Perform quality checks (QA/QC) on drawings prior to issue for construction or review.
•
Manage drawing revisions in coordination with the document control system.
Qualifications:
- Robust foundation in Electrical Engineering, including understanding of electricity principles and industrial applications.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for industrial or automation projects.
- Experience with Power Distribution systems design, load calculations and protection coordination.
- Ability to work with relevant design tools and CAD software for electrical schematics and layouts.
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards and safety practices.
