Role & responsibilities
- Develop and maintain organization structure, manpower planning, and HR budgets.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, interviews, vendor coordination, and hiring.
- Conduct employee onboarding, induction, and orientation programs.
- Drive Performance Management System (KRA/KPI), appraisals, increments, and succession planning.
- Oversee payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and statutory regulations.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit, including documentation.
- Design and execute employee engagement, welfare, and retention initiatives.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs.
- Handle HR operations, employee records, HRIS, and policy implementation.
- Manage office administration, facility services, and vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and HR processes.
- Prepare HR reports, MIS, manpower analytics, and support management decision-making.
- Resolve employee relations issues and support a positive work culture.
Preferred candidate profile
- 10 - 20 years of HR experience, preferably in the Machinery/Equipment Manufacturing industry.
- Solid knowledge of Labour Laws, statutory compliances (PF, ESIC, PT, CLRA, Factory Act, etc.), and payroll processes.
- Experience in both Corporate Office and Manufacturing Plant HR operations is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Hindi (written & verbal).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proactive, energetic, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and HRMS/ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
