Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership
- Lead and supervise the academic functioning of the assigned section (Pre-Primary, Primary, Middle, or Senior School).
- Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum and academic calendar.
- Monitor lesson planning, classroom instruction, and student engagement.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning across all subjects.
Teacher Supervision & Mentoring
- Observe classroom teaching and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor and coach teachers to improve instructional practices.
- Conduct regular academic meetings and professional development sessions.
- Support current teachers through induction and continuous guidance.
Curriculum Implementation
- Ensure curriculum objectives are achieved effectively.
- Promote inquiry-based, experiential, and skill-based learning practices.
- Encourage integration of technology and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Monitor completion of syllabus and academic documentation.
Assessment & Quality Assurance
- Oversee assessment planning, examination schedules, and evaluation processes.
- Review student performance data and recommend improvement strategies.
- Ensure consistency in assessment standards and reporting.
Student Development
- Monitor students' academic progress and overall development.
- Address academic concerns and support intervention plans for struggling learners.
- Promote participation in competitions, exhibitions, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
