Continental Belting Private Limited is one of India’s largest conveyor belting companies, serving customers across industries such as steel, cement, mining, power, ports, food processing, and bulk material handling.

As part of our growing pan-India presence, we have recently opened new stocking and servicing points in
Jamshedpur, Kolkata, and Bangalore
. We are looking for a Market Research Intern for a
duration of 2 months (extendable)
to help us identify potential customers and industrial companies that our ground sales and service teams can visit.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify industrial companies located in and around Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Bangalore, and nearby industrial regions.
- Collect and organise information such as:
- Company name and address
- Industry and plant type
- Contact details
- Website
- Key decision-makers
- Purchase, maintenance, or plant contact persons
- Potential requirement for conveyor belts
- Identify manufacturing plants, mines, steel plants, cement plants, power plants, warehouses, ports, rice mills,



and other bulk-material-handling facilities.
- Verify the accuracy of collected data through online research and telephonic confirmation wherever required.
- Categorise companies according to location, industry, size, and sales potential.
- Prepare visit lists and area-wise market maps for CBPL’s ground sales and service teams.
- Maintain the collected information in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Submit regular progress reports and highlight high-potential leads.

Who Can Apply
- Students or recent graduates in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related fields.
- Strong internet research and data collection skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
