We are seeking an experienced
SFCC Automation Tester
with strong expertise in testing eCommerce applications built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing, test framework development, API testing, and validating end-to-end eCommerce workflows. The role requires close collaboration with development, business, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for SFCC-based eCommerce applications.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Automate UI and API test scenarios using industry-standard tools.
- Validate critical eCommerce functionalities including:
- Product Catalog
- Search & Browse
- Cart & Checkout
- Promotions & Coupons
- Payments
- Order Management
- Customer Account
- Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks.
- Perform API testing and backend validations.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with developers for resolution.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and QA estimation activities.
- Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics.
Required Skills
- 5–8 years of QA experience with strong automation testing expertise.
- Hands-on experience testing
Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/B2C Commerce)
applications.
- Strong experience with automation tools such as
Selenium WebDriver
,
Playwright
, or
Cypress
.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
- Positive understanding of eCommerce business processes and customer journeys.
- Experience in REST API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
