Description
- 8+ years of experience in QA and Test Automation. Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory). Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript Strong understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience in automating modern web applications (SPA, responsive apps). Good knowledge of API testing using Playwright or REST tools.
Requirements
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Job responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable automation components.
- Perform end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing using Playwright.
- Integrate Playwright tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to implement shift-left testing.
- Analyze test failures and debug automation issues.
- Ensure high test coverage and quality standards.
- Mentor junior team members on Playwright automation best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in automation processes
