Role Summary

We are seeking a senior legal professional to serve as the organisation's in-house authority on immovable property law
*and*
as its principal liaison with Maharashtra's revenue and registration machinery. This is a relationship-led role: alongside title, stamp duty, registration and land-revenue advisory, the person will be the organisation's face before sub-registrar offices and revenue authorities across the state, and will directly support land acquisition and aggregation across multiple districts of Maharashtra. We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked
*inside*
the Registration & Stamps department or revenue/land-records administration, and who bring existing, trusted working relationships across these offices. The ideal candidate pairs deep statutory command with the practical,



on-the-ground fluency to move complex title and registration matters through the system.

Key Responsibilities

A. Government Liaison & Regulatory Navigation
- Act as the organisation's primary point of contact and representative before Talathi, Circle Officer, Tahsildar, Sub-Divisional Officer, Collector, and Sub-Registrar offices across Maharashtra.
- Personally drive time-sensitive matters — mutations, NA conversions, adjudication, registration — through the relevant offices, anticipating procedural bottlenecks before they arise.
- Maintain and expand working relationships across revenue and registration offices in the districts where the organisation operates and intends to expand.

B. Land Acquisition Support (Multi-District)
- Provide title, revenue-record and regulatory support for land acquisition and aggregation across different regions of Maharashtra, including the Raigad/Alibag coastal corridor.
