Role & responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Space Optimization: Manage warehouse layout and space utilization efficiently to accommodate fluctuating inventory levels.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and delegate tasks to warehouse staff, loaders, and packers to ensure daily dispatch targets are met.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to warehouse safety protocols, cleanliness, and security standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of inward/outward gate passes, delivery challans, and transport documentation.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: 35 years in warehouse or distribution center operations (experience in automotive components, manufacturing, or structured retail is a plus).
- Skills: Strong hands-on experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) or ERP software (like SAP/Tally). Positive team handling and spatial management skills.
