SRM Text Illustrator
to join our
Aerospace Technical Publications
team. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on technical illustration of SRM content, with the opportunity to expand into authoring responsibilities based on project needs and individual capability.
You will play a key role in delivering high-qual
ity Structural Repair Manual (SRM) documentation, ensuring full compliance with Airbus standards.
This role demands close collaboration with engineering and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Create, modify, and revise
SRM illustrations and content for Airbus programs including SA, LR, MB, and XWB (A318, A319, A320, A321, A330, A340, A350, and A380).
Interpret engineering drawings and technical data to produce accurate repair illustrations and supporting text.
Convert engineering inputs into clear, structured repair procedures and visuals.
Ensure all deliverables comply with Airbus standards, tools, and processes.
Perform impact analysis and incorporate changes into SRM documentation effectively.
Develop and maintain both graphical and textual content for structural repair manuals.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to validate technical accuracy and completeness.
Your Profile
Strong understanding of
SRM illustration and authoring practices in the aerospace domain.
Hands-on experience with Technical illustration tool-TechDraw (3DVIA Composer, or similar tools).
Good knowledge and ability to interpret engineering drawings (2D/3D, CAD models, BOMs).
Ability to guide and support junior illustrators and authors.
Experience in reviewing deliverables and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Capability to train and onboard current team members on tools, standards, and processes.
Ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) for rejections and implement preventive actions.
Experience in creating and delivering knowledge-sharing sessions and training content.
