Role Description
The Fiber Optic Splicer is a full-time, in office role based in New Delhi. This role is responsible for installing, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic cables within structured cabling environments for commercial and enterprise clients. Day-to-day activities include reading and interpreting network layouts and construction drawings, preparing fiber cables,



performing fusion and mechanical splicing, and conducting OTDR and power meter tests to verify signal integrity. The Fiber Optic Splicer will also document work performed, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, coordinate with project supervisors and field teams, and support maintenance and repair tasks on existing fiber networks.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working with fiber optic cables and related cabling systems.
- Proficiency in structured cabling practices, including installation, routing, labeling, and termination.
- Ability to safely work with electricity and low-voltage systems, following industry safety protocols.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and fiber-specific equipment (fusion splicers, OTDR, cleavers, power meters).
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure fundamentals and basic telecom concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, construction drawing
