Role Description
The Public Policy Intern role at Digistall is a full-time remote position focused on supporting policy research and advocacy related to technology access and e-commerce in rural India. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will conduct research on government policies, regulations, and programs that affect digital inclusion and rural commerce. The intern will assist in drafting policy briefs, reports, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include monitoring legislative developments, summarizing key issues,



and preparing updates for the team. The intern will collaborate with colleagues on stakeholder engagement initiatives and may support virtual meetings or consultations with government bodies, partners, and community organizations.

Qualifications
- Governmental Affairs and Government Relations skills to understand and navigate public sector structures and policies.
- Legislative Relations capabilities to track, analyze, and summarize relevant laws, regulations, and policy proposals.
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess policy impacts, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Effective Communication skills to prepare transparent briefs, reports, and presentations for diverse audiences.
- Interest in public policy, digital inclusion, rural development, or e-commerce.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
