About the Role
As an Accounting Associate, you will support accounting and reporting engagements for multiple clients, maintain accurate financial records, assist with compliance, and contribute to building effective finance processes
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts for multiple clients
- Record and reconcile financial transactions
- Prepare bank, vendor and customer reconciliations
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual close activities
- Prepare management reports and financial statements
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with GST, TDS and statutory compliance
- Maintain financial documentation
- Work with cloud accounting platforms and ERP systems
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or finance
- Experience with consulting firms or CA firms is an advantage
- CA Inter, CMA Inter or ACCA students are welcome
Skills Required
- Strong accounting fundamentals
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or similar
- Attention to detail
- Good communication
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
