Role Overview

The Product Manager Bank Portfolio will lead growth and performance of RuPay Credit Cards across issuing banks, including RuPay Credit Cards and RuPay Credit Card on UPI. The role will focus on issuer partnership growth, portfolio performance, PL management, usage activation, and governance, working cross-functionally with banks and internal teams. This role is ideal for a professional with strong exposure to credit card portfolios, issuer economics, and campaign-led growth, who can translate strategy into measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Strategy Issuer Growth - Define and execute the bank portfolio growth strategy for RuPay Credit Cards, driving higher market share across card issuance, activation, transaction volumes, and spend value.
- Create strategies to scale up engaging products like AutoPay, EMI and upgrades.
- Identify opportunities to enhance issuer portfolios by launching recent RuPay card variants.
- Support adoption and scaling of RuPay Credit Card on UPI across issuer portfolios.




- Identify and build right check and controls for new issuance to get the right customer segments.
- Portfolio PL Management - Own issuer- and variant-level pricing, ensuring timely and optimal revenue realization.
- Manage monthly income statement, provisioning and income reconciliation.
- Drive process automation and simplification to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual dependencies.
- Work closely with the strategic partners to optimize the cost Activation, Usage Campaigns - Lead early activation, linkage, and usage programs for banks retail credit card portfolios.
- Analyse customer behaviour to identify high-potential customer segments that drive higher value and volumes.
- Design and execute tactical and strategic campaigns to improve activation, repeat usage, and spend intensity across RuPay Credit Cards.
