The Quantity Surveyor / Billing Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, cost efficiency, and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This position is responsible for managing quantities, preparing bills, validating contractor claims, and supporting project teams with reliable cost insights..
Key Responsibilities
1. Quantity Surveying:
· Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings & specifications.
· Maintain and update BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for all project stages.
· Conduct rate analysis for new & extra items.
· Assist in cost estimation & project budgeting.
· Verify material reconciliation & ensure accuracy of consumption records.
· Check and certify subcontractor & supplier bills.
· Ensure timely submission of measurement sheets & supporting documents.
· Coordinate with site & accounts teams for bill verification & certification.
· Handle variations, change orders & maintain proper documentation for the same.
3. Contracts & Documentation:
· Assist in preparation & review of contracts, tenders & quotations.
· Keep accurate records of work done & measurement books.
· Ensure all billing & contractual documentation comply with company standards.
