Role Description
The Tally Accountant role is a full time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Tally Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting activities in Tally, including recording sales and purchase entries, managing ledgers, preparing and reconciling bank statements, and monitoring accounts payable and receivable. The role includes maintaining accurate financial records,
assisting with GST and other statutory compliances, preparing basic financial reports, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The Tally Accountant will collaborate with management to provide timely financial data, coordinate with vendors and customers on billing and payment issues, and ensure all documentation is organized and up to date.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Tally ERP accounting software and hands-on experience with day-to-day bookkeeping and ledger management.
- Practical knowledge of basic accounting principles, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance relevant to Indian accounting standards.
- Ability to prepare and reconcile bank statements, manage accounts payable and receivable, and assist with financial reporting.
- Solid skills in MS Excel and other office productivity tools for maintaining reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
