Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer Deputy General Manager Position
Job Description
Purpose of the Role: The incumbent of this role will be responsible for design and development of electrical and Instrumentation systems including power systems and power evacuation system of a Combined Cycle Power Plant of Alaoji.
Role Requirements
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/ C&I; Engg / Electrical Electronics and communications engg
- Experience:
- >15- 20 years’ experience Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering
- Should have experience of design of Power generation system of CCPP and also power transmission.
- Experience of working in an organization which works on Engineering Consultancy and handled Engineering, Procurement and Construction Project
Primary Location: Hyderabad
Additional Locations: Nigeria (if situation demands of design doc approval)
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Electrical
- Conceptualisation of Electrical designs of CCPP.
- Electrical system specification and development of single line diagram.
- Electrical analysis like Load flow, short circuit, harmonic and transient studies for the Power Plant and also for power evacuation from the Power Plant
- Review of electrical system designs prepared by the Vendors
- Electrical system implementation supervision during the construction phase of the projects.
- Working with contractors to plan the layout of structures to ensure that all electrical needs are met.
- Supervision of Testing and Commissioning of electrical systems and equipment in the proposed power plant.
C&I;
- Preparing the Design documents and technical specifications for Control and Instrumentation of Combined Cycle Power Plant
- Specification of DCS/PLC, Field Instruments.
- Preparing detailed design Specification, Functional design specification and documentation.
- Marshalling cabinet design and System cabinet Design.
