Our client, a leading company dedicated to infrastructure development, specializing in runways and highways, is looking for a CEO to be based in Delhi / NCR.

Role overview:

The CEO will lead the acquisition and expansion of a roads and highways portfolio of the client by sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and completing acquisitions of operational infrastructure assets (HAM, BOT, Toll, TOT) for the InvIT. The role will work closely with sponsors, investors, lenders, regulators, and government authorities to drive growth while maximizing long-term value for unitholders.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop acquisition strategy aligned with the InvIT's growth objectives
- Identify and originate acquisition opportunities across road assets
- Build relationships with:

NHAI

Ministry of Road Transport &Highways; (MoRTH)

EPC developers

Infrastructure funds

Investment banks

PE funds, sponsors and Investors
- Lead commercial negotiations, due diligence, valuation, and transaction structuring




- Oversee financial modelling, investment committee approvals, and bid submissions
- Coordinate legal, technical, tax, and financial advisors during acquisitions
- Manage post-acquisition integration and value creation
- Present investment proposals to the Board and Investment Committee
- Lead fundraising discussions with domestic and international institutional investors and should have good relationship with them
- Responsible to Board and Investors, should manage investor expectations (existing)
- Kind of Investor relation role

Candidate profile:
- 18–25+ years of experience in:

Roads & Highways

Infrastructure investments

M&A;

Asset management InvITs or Infrastructure Funds
- Solid understanding of Road Sector and InvIT framework

HAM

BOT

Toll projects

TOT concessions

PPP framework
- Proven experience in acquisitions of operational infrastructure assets
- Strong network across NHAI, M
