Role Description
The FinOps Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automation solutions that optimize cloud financial operations and cost management for Sunovaa and its clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and integrating tools and scripts to collect and analyze cloud usage data, creating dashboards and alerts for spend monitoring, and collaborating with engineering, data,



and finance teams to improve cost efficiency. The role involves defining and refining FinOps processes, implementing policies and guardrails, and supporting governance around cloud budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation. The engineer will troubleshoot automation workflows, enhance existing solutions, document standards and best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of FinOps capabilities. This is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in cloud platforms and FinOps tooling, such as AWS/Azure/GCP cost management services, cloud billing APIs, and FinOps frameworks for cost optimization and governance.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting using languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell, along with experience in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
