Role Description
The Coordinator of Volunteers at GANDARA ARENZO & DE LAS CARRERAS is a part time, remote role responsible for organizing and supporting volunteer activities across programs and initiatives. The position involves coordinating volunteer schedules, matching volunteers with appropriate opportunities, and maintaining accurate records of volunteer participation. The coordinator will develop and deliver training materials, provide ongoing guidance, and serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers. This role also includes collaborating with internal teams to identify volunteer needs, promoting opportunities through community and digital channels, and ensuring volunteers have a positive, inclusive experience. The Coordinator will regularly monitor program effectiveness, gather feedback, and help improve processes and resources that support volunteer engagement.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training to recruit, onboard, support, and retain volunteers effectively.




- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills to build trust, provide clear instructions, and address questions or concerns from diverse volunteer groups.
- Experience or interest in Community Outreach to promote volunteer opportunities, strengthen relationships with partner organizations, and expand the volunteer network.
- Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate multiple volunteer activities, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools and basic office software to manage communications, scheduling, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to changing program needs.
- Prior experience in volunteer coordination, nonprofit, or community-based work is preferred but not required.
