Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior / Lead Instructional Designer with strong experience in Career and Technical Education (CTE) and the US K-12 education system. The role will lead instructional design strategy, ensure content quality, and mentor instructional design teams across multiple CTE clusters.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead instructional design decisions and maintain quality standards across projects
- Review and approve instructional artifacts (blueprints, storyboards, assessments)
- Mentor and guide Instructional Designers on pedagogy and SME-led models
- Ensure alignment with US K-12 CTE frameworks and best practices
- Own and update instructional guidelines throughout the development lifecycle
- Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders on design changes and scope updates





Required Skills & Experience:
- 6-10+ years of experience in Instructional Design
- Minimum 2 years in a Senior / Lead Instructional Designer role
- Strong experience in CTE / vocational education content
- Experience with US K-12 education system
- Expertise in instructional models such as:
- 5E Instructional Model
- Gradual Release of Responsibility
- Experience designing modular, objective-driven learning content

Preferred Skills:
- Middle & high school CTE pedagogy experience
- Knowledge of industry certifications and state CTE standards (e.g., TEKS)
- Strong stakeholder and team management skills
