Role Description
The Online Python Mentor – US Shift Timing from 2:30 am - 8:30 am (6 hours) will conduct live, interactive online sessions with school-age learners, guiding them through Python concepts, exercises, and projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include explaining coding fundamentals, reviewing students’ code, providing feedback and support, and adapting teaching methods to different learning styles and ages. The mentor will prepare lesson materials aligned with Codeyoung’s curriculum, track learner progress,



and communicate with the internal team on session outcomes or learner needs. This is a part-time, remote role that requires consistent availability during US shift timings and a reliable internet connection.

Qualifications
- Solid understanding of Python programming fundamentals and practical experience applying Python to projects or problem-solving tasks.
- Experience teaching, mentoring, or tutoring learners (especially children or teens) in STEM or coding subjects.
- Solid communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently to beginners.
- Comfort with online teaching tools, video conferencing platforms, and collaborative coding environments.
- Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere for diverse learners.
