Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
Middleware MFT Engineer
to support, implement, and administer enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions using
IBM Sterling MFT
. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in secure file transfer technologies, encryption, Windows administration, and IBM Sterling components. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously learning new technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, administer, and patch
IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer (MFT)
solutions.
- Manage and support IBM Sterling components including:
- Sterling File Gateway
- Sterling Secure Proxy
- Perimeter Server
- Control Center / Control Server
- Configure and maintain secure file transfer protocols including
SFTP, HTTPS, SSH, and TLS
.
- Perform
PGP encryption/decryption
, file compression, and secure data exchange activities.




- Manage
OpenSSL
operations, certificate management, and encryption key lifecycle.
- Support cloud storage integrations, particularly
Amazon S3
connectivity.
- Monitor MFT environments, logs, alerts, and system health to ensure platform availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot file transfer failures, security issues, and infrastructure-related incidents.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external business partners for onboarding, support, and issue resolution.
- Participate in vulnerability remediation activities related to
SSH, TLS, certificates, and secure communication protocols
.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge and contribute to process improvements and operational excellence.
