Role Description
This is a full time, on-site Site Engineer role based in Chennai. The Site Engineer will oversee daily site operations for solar and related civil engineering projects, ensuring work is executed according to design, safety standards, and quality requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating with civil engineers and contractors, monitoring construction progress, conducting site inspections,
and resolving technical issues promptly. The role involves implementing quality control procedures, reviewing structural drawings, verifying material specifications, and maintaining accurate site documentation and reports. The Site Engineer will also collaborate with project managers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timelines, budgets, and regulatory compliance are met.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site project execution skills, including site supervision and field coordination.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of quality control processes, inspection methods, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Background in structural engineering, with the ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings and specifications.
