Role & responsibilities
- Develop and execute plant-level Lean strategy aligned with business goals, quality/regulatory requirements, and automation roadmap.
- Lead value stream mapping, Kaizen events, 5S, SMED, standard work, visual management, and other lean initiatives across the factory.
- Implement and sustain process controls, poka-yoke, and standard work in each functional department.
- Support NPI activities: supporting the engineer on process and line layout optimization, and the intralogistics ensure the efficiency flow within the factory.
- Establish, monitor and report KPIs (OEE by cell, cycle time, takt time, first-pass yield, defect rates, tooling lead time, mold maintenance metrics, mean time between failures, inventory turns, on-time delivery).
- Train, mentor and coach cross-functional teams (production, tooling, automation engineering, QA, supply chain, maintenance) on lean principles and structured problem-solving.

Preferred candidate profile




- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related).
- 13+ years experience in manufacturing continuous improvement/lean roles; 5+ years in medical device/pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
- Experience with injection molding, manual, and fully automated assembly is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, GMP, and medical device regulatory expectations.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or equivalent.
- Proficient with lean tools: VSM, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, TPM, Poka-Yoke, visual management, standard work.
- Robust analytical skills; comfortable with SPC, process capability, and data-driven problem solving.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and change-management skills; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
