Introduction

GlobalFoundries Tax Operations is growing, and we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Tax Manager to lead our in-house Tax Operations Center of Excellence (COE). This role is critical in standardizing, scaling, and executing global tax operations while driving technology integration and operational excellence.

As part of the Global Tax Compliance Reporting team, the Experienced Tax Manager will lead large-scale tax initiatives, enhance automation and digitization efforts, and collaborate closely with senior leadership to achieve strategic and operational goals.
Your Job

As an Experienced Tax Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage the in-house Tax Operations Center of Excellence (COE) to standardize and scale global tax operations
- Drive transformation into a technology-enabled tax function through automation, digitization, and process optimization
- Lead large and complex tax projects, ensuring timely execution and operational excellence




- Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders across geographies to achieve business objectives
- Oversee operations across multiple tax domains including International Tax, U.S. Tax, Local Tax, Compliance Reporting, Special Projects, and MA
- Navigate and lead through ambiguity and complexity, maintaining composure and strategic direction
- Identify operational challenges and opportunities; develop and implement actionable solutions to improve team effectiveness
- Validate outcomes with stakeholders, communicate alternative viewpoints, and incorporate feedback
- Mentor and coach junior professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and maintaining qualified standards
- Promote transparent communication and build trust across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
