SUMMARY

Manager Data Engineering & DBA Services will lead a team of 15+ professionals responsible for enterprise data engineering, data integration, database administration, BI Reporting and production support operations. The role will oversee the design, development, optimization, governance and support of contemporary data platforms built on Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, SQL technologies, and enterprise data integration frameworks.

The manager will be accountable for delivery excellence, resource planning, stakeholder management, operational support, team development, platform reliability, and continuous improvement of data engineering and database services supporting global business operations.

This role includes responsibility for maintaining 24x7 operational support coverage, managing offshore delivery teams, ensuring adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and driving modernization initiatives across the data ecosystem.

Total Team Size: 15+ FTEs

Data Engineering Team: Senior / Level II ( 40%), Consultants ( 40%) & Senior Engineers ( 20%)

Leadership & People Management, Production Support & Operations, Ownership, Ensure continuous operational coverage through rotational support model:
- Own Service Delivery, Production support operations and incident management processes.
- Establish governance standards for data engineering and database operations.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of enterprise Data Warehouse POD initiatives.
- Oversee development of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
- Ensure adherence to architecture standards, coding standards, and best practices.
