Videotex International Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Purchase to lead procurement activities for our Television and Washing Machine business. The candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, and ensuring timely material availability to support production.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead procurement of components and raw materials for Television & Washing Machine.
· Develop and manage domestic vendor base.
· Negotiate prices, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers.
· Ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted material availability.
· Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
· Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, R&D;, and Finance teams.
· Identify and develop alternate suppliers to reduce supply risks.
· Monitor supplier performance on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD).
· Ensure compliance with procurement policies and processes.
· Lead and mentor the purchase team.
Preferred Experience
· 10+ years of experience in Purchase/Sourcing.
· Minimum 6 years in a managerial role.
· Experience in Television & Washing Machine manufacturing is mandatory.
· Solid knowledge of vendor management, negotiation, cost analysis, and inventory planning.
· Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar) and MS Excel.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations will be preferred.
