About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer / Technical Project Manager from the Tyre Machinery or Tyre Manufacturing industry to manage customer projects from enquiry to successful commissioning. The candidate will act as the single point of contact between customers, overseas principals, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Manage complete project lifecycle from order receipt to installation and project closure.
- Prepare project plans, schedules, and execution timelines.
- Track project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Conduct project review meetings and provide regular progress updates to management.
- Monitor project costs, schedules, and quality standards.
Customer Coordination
- Coordinate with customers to understand technical requirements and project expectations.
- Conduct project kick-off meetings with customers and internal teams.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Resolve customer technical and project execution issues.
Technical Engineering
- Understand tyre manufacturing processes and tyre machinery.
- Review customer requirements and finalize machine/equipment specifications.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers/principals for technical discussions.
- Support equipment selection, technical documentation, and engineering clarifications.
- Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and acceptance trials.
Project Execution
- Coordinate with internal departments including Purchase, Engineering, Service, and Accounts.
