We are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant with a strong background in manufacturing cost accounting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in product costing, inventory valuation, cost analysis, budgeting, and ERP-based costing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain product costing and standard cost models.
- Update Bills of Materials (BOM) and routing data.
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead cost variances.
- Monitor inventory valuation, WIP, and finished goods costing.
- Prepare weekly/monthly cost reports and MIS.
- Support month-end closing activities related to costing and inventory.
- Perform cost account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
Preferred candidate profile
- CMA / ICWA / CMA Inter qualification.
- 3-6 years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting.
- Robust knowledge of standard costing, product costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally ERP, etc.).
