Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with robust knowledge of Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Fixture Design, and Cavity Design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in machine design, 3D modeling, manufacturing drawings, and product development.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM) based on customer requirements.
- Design welding fixtures, assembly fixtures, inspection fixtures, and machining fixtures.
- Design cavities, tooling, and machine components for automation projects.
- Create 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and BOMs using CAD software.
- Select standard mechanical components such as linear guides, ball screws, bearings, cylinders, motors, and gearboxes.
- Coordinate with the production, assembly, electrical, and project teams.
- Support machine assembly, testing, and design modifications during commissioning.




- Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in SPM Machine Design.
- Strong knowledge of Fixture Design and Cavity Design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in sheet metal, machining, fabrication, and pneumatic systems.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in SPM Machine Design.
- Experience in fixture design, cavity design, automation equipment, and machine development.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
