Role Description
The Senior Accountant role at SPM Castings is a full time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and oversight of inventory and cost accounting related to casting and machining activities. The Senior Accountant prepares and reviews financial statements,



supports budgeting and forecasting, and ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations. This position also involves coordinating with internal departments and external auditors, improving financial processes, and providing management with timely financial analysis for decision-making.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in general accounting, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing sector finance, preferably within casting or industrial production environments.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, taxation rules, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Ability to use accounting and ERP software, with solid skills in spreadsheets and data analysis tools.
